I have an Acer Aspire 5720 Laptop and I am having trouble with the wireless connection. The laptop wireless LAN switch is on (indicated by red light, just above the keyboard), but it keeps flicking and occasionally disappears. I had thought that the problem was with the laptop as I couldn't understand why the red light wouldn't stay on.
However, when I switched the router on and off, it seems ok. Is the light on the laptop, indicating that Wireless LAN is enabled, directly connected to the whether the router is working or not??
The router is from Sky Broadband, and all the green lights are on.
I have an Acer Aspire 5720G with an Intel b/g/draft n mini pci express card 4965AGN MM1. I had an issue where the wireless became unavailable. In my device properties it is listed as a 'Network Controller' with no driver loaded.
